Aekaran was born heir to House Quen in Korin, much to his dismay. Living with a domineering and highly respected mother, who was very much active in politics and parties, two sisters, and a soft-spoken father viewed by the family as weak, he grew up in the high society of Korin strongly disliking all of his blood relatives.

In his early years, Aekaran proved a very feminine-looking boy, enough so that he was often mistaken for a girl. He soon noticed he garnered more respect, if not attention, if he was assumed to be an intelligent, clever woman, so, with his mother's encouragement, he took to dressing in women's clothes.

While most of Korin thought him a girl, there was little that could be hidden regarding his unhappiness at home: he attempted to run away often, sometimes twice in a week. A permenant guard was stationed outside his door, until one day he finally escaped.

He met another journal possessor, Eden, wandering around Korin, and they spent the next month or so travelling together in Dentoria. Once they seperated, however, Kara returned to Korin, lured by the scent of war and excitement. When he neared Quen, his sister, also a journal writer, notified their parents, and he was soon taken home by armed guard.



PERSONALITY

Aekaran is disagreeable and bitter, possessed of the ability to hold a grudge for fantastic periods of time. He has little love for humans in general, especially his family, whom he loathes. Kara is almost entirely apathetic about most things, becoming easily bored if not amused immediately.

Kara possesses a brilliant mind and a biting wit that has severed quite a few house ties. He has an interest in reading: unlike Leila, he can finish a book in less than a day. His true passion lies in the piano, however, and he's been known to play until his fingers develop blisters from the keys. He has a semi-photographic memory, and memorizes sheet music in a startlingly short amount of time.



APPEARANCE
Once feminine in appearance, Aekaran has grown into an almost perfectly androgynous beauty. He has white hair that, while once long, now is cut to shoulder-blade level, and violet eyes.
